DB2 Programming & Management Strategies

Course Description:

This 3-day intensive course covers DB2 data management (including the relationships of the various objects to each other, together with the physical characteristics of the objects), design issues, programming and performance (including how to run and interpret Explains). Important topics include how design issues like data integrity, availability, security and performance can affect the eventual DB2 structures; and workshops will be included to allow the attendees to follow the process and understand the relationship between the program and the SQL code, the access and the DB2 Catalog.
