Course Description:

This one-day course provides an introduction to CICS and its facilities and functions. The Operator Interface, Intersystem Communication and how Resources are defined are all covered. Upon completion, attendees will have gained an understanding of the role of CICS and be able to describe its services and basic architecture. A CICS/TS system will be available to reinforce topics covered.
