Course Description:

This intensive, four-day, hands-on CICS Command Level Programming course is designed to take COBOL Programmers through the fundamentals of the CICS Command Level interface. The course enables batch programmers to confidently program CICS Transactions, to use the CICS supplied transactions to test and debug their application. In addition, this course covers the VSAM interface, recovery, program linkage, commareas, syncpointing, remote printing, logging and building maps. Many examples and workshops are included.
