CICS/TS Management Overview

Course Description:

Target audiences of this 1.5-days course are Technical Managers, Programming Managers or Operational Managers. This course provides an introduction to CICS and describes its facilities from a Management and Reporting standpoint. Transaction processing is briefly discussed. Topics include how CICS can meet Service level agreements; CICS reporting and how CICS manages its resource. The attendee will also understand how CICS Health checks can be done, as well as how to relate CICS transaction processing and Resource consumption to the business and users. CICS/TS system will be available to reinforce topics covered.
